[…] Probabilmente la Fantalogía ha una evidente componente utopica che ci dà un po’ di conforto in un mondo che nella realtà quotidiana sembra spesso superare le più pessimistiche distopie. Marinò ne è consapevole, non è un ingenuo, ma non si arrende, dà la sua testimonianza da una posizione vigile ed appartata per opporsi pacificamente all’informe e all’immane che sono sempre in agguato. Il suo entusiasmo quasi fanciullesco per le mille possibilità offerte dalle nuove tecnologie non dimentica però l’eredità preziosa del passato e la trasmissione del sapere di generazione in generazione.

[…] Fantalogic probably has an obvious utopian element that gives us some comfort in a world where our everyday reality often seems to exceed our most pessimistic dystopias. Marinò realises this, but is not naive; rather than surrender he provides his version from an alert, secluded position, pacifically contrasting the unformed and immense that are always lying in wait. However his almost childish enthusiasm for the thousands of possibilities provided by new technologies does not exclude the precious legacy of the past and the transmission of knowledge from one generation to the next.
